Fire Protection Ltd is certified to the quality system standard ISO 9001:2015 by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) for the manufacture and installation of fire resistant ductwork systems and penetration seals.
Additionally, our Fire Duct Installation has been certified by the LPCB under its LPS 1531 scheme as meeting the requirements for the approval and listing of companies installing fire-rated ductwork systems.
We are also certified under the FIRAS scheme for fire duct installation and hold a compliance certificate issued by BM TRADA on behalf of the Heating and Ventilating Contractors Association (HVCA).
Assessment and surveillance visits by the accredited bodies mean that we are subjected to at least eight audits a year, ensuring that our management, manufacturing and installation systems are always up to standard.
Quality all the way
Precise record keeping and labelling ensures that full traceability is available from material suppliers, through manufacture and spraying, to installation.
Using CAD/CAM technology from design to manufacture speeds the production process and reduces the risk of error, ensuring we can always deliver consistent quality in minimum time.
Quality assurance checks at each stage of engineering, manufacture and installation guarantee that the installed BW11 ductwork system is fault free and meets specification and quality standards.
With a thorough mechanical inspection before spraying and a final pre-dispatch inspection, our customers can be confident that the ductwork will be correct and ready to install when delivered to site.
Close supervision during installation, staged checks and inspections backed by a certificate of conformity confirms that the system will perform to the required standard in a critical fire situation.
By measuring our performance in key areas against challenging annual targets, including delivery, non-conformances and customer satisfaction, we honour our commitment to continuous improvement for the benefit of our customers and the business.
